I’m DONE! Lincoln Franklin: Ghost Hunters 2070 officially has 3 tight chapters!

I’ve never drawn a comic under a microscope before. I had to go back and re-draw about 12 pages. Then towards the end of Chapter 2 I realized I wanted to do the books in greyscale. This added a whole other dimension to the page layouts.

It was super fun to have the feedback of the ever wonderful Brandon Graham. Ultra thanks to him. I highly encourage you, dear reader to buy anything he puts out. He’s a comic book sage!

Here the FINISHED, GREYED first chapter entitled “Easy To Assemble”. There are minor changes to be made, but this is pretty much it.

>phew< So, the text on page 6 will be hand drawn like page 3. Also, I haven't toned all of page 9. Other than those discrepancies, I'm done. Hope you enjoy. I'll be able to have sellable copies of this book after June 1st. Along with chapter 2 (11 pages) and Chapter 3 (18 pages)!

Plus, LinkyFranky.com has been purchased, but I'm not even going to worry about it until after graduation. It should also be up by June first to prepare for Heroes Con.

MoCCA 2011

So, I went to MoCCA this past week-end. It was pretty damned fun. I tabled with my friends Emily and Ryland.I sold about ten Linky Franky comics. I used said money to buy a print by Scott Campbell. Friday and Saturday I hung out with my friend Tom, who let me and the lady stay at his house. We went to a bar around the corner from his apartment with a sweet audio tape covered bathroom.Then, Tom took me to see this band Craft Spells at some bar that had these crumpled paper clouds above the stage. It was pretty freaking awesome!Sunday Emily’s hair was out of control.I sold some more comics, but mostly walked around buying comics. The best two i found were Jesse Lonergan’s Dancing with the Star Wars and Byron Paul Gray’s Pulpo.

Then we gathered up all our things an hour early and went to Grand Central (that’s where Unbreakable worked) to catch out train back home.

I’ve been back for three days and i’m still pretty pooped. I can’t wait to make tiny comics with less important plot lines.

Devil On Your Shoulder

So, there are 6 people In White River Junction that can text me EVER, and I’ll go drinking with them. They’re the Devils On My Shoulder crew. Sadly, it’s usually ME that’s dragging them out. Recently, I haven’t had time to go drinking. Being that I missed them all so much, I drew some fan art of them.

Left to right is Caitlin Mcgurk, hottest librarian you’re ever going to meet! We became fast friends. Then, Emily Sauter, resident beer expert. I only ever drink pabst, but she’s drank hundreds of beers. She’s prolly my best lady-friend at school. Then Dave W. Few people in this world inspire the madness Dave instills in me. He’s obviously my best bud this year. In the middle with his back turned is Andy Warner, smoothest dude in White River. He’s the wild card in this crew. He just appears while we’re chilling sometimes, like some secret character in a 90 video game. Then Me. I’m my own worst enemy. Next to me is my BEST enemy, Katie Moody. She hardly has any time to hang out. When she does, though, i’m positive the lights dim a little when she walks in. AND finally, Sam Plester. British made, American approved. I try and fail constantly to out drink him. Impossible.
