Charleston for the Summer

Monty and I drove from Vermont to Newport News in 11 hours. We listened to both Protomen albums. It was EPIC! In Virginia we stayed with my friends Mike and Rick. Rick woke up the next morning and rode with us to Wilmington, NC.

We hung out with my friend Valerie McGee. There was much drinking of sake and watching of LOST.

Hangovers the next day made us leave at 3 PM. Traffic made us get to Charleston at NINE!

Last night we went and saw Matt Pond PA. It was pretty boss.

Bear Fight! part two

Just a quick, tiny update. Bear fight, of which I am part of, is receiving some praise:

Two weekends ago, Bearfight! won two awards at the Stumptown Comics Fest in Portland, Oregon. One for “Outstanding DIY Book” and the second for “Outstanding Small Press Publication.” I want to thank you all once again for making Bearfight! such an amazingly diverse and interesting collection of kick-ass art; I could not have done it without all of you. The public reaction has been nothing but positive, and the biggest question seems to be, “When is Bearfight 2 coming out and can I be a part of it?”
